When choosing a puppy carrier some people are more concerned about safety while others want to combine style and fashion. Hence, the market is flooded with all types of puppy carriers.

Style combined with convenience seems to be the concern of most designers of puppy carrier totes. If you are walking in a crowded public place your pet will be safe and secure in your puppy carrier.

You will be frequently amused to discover puppies peeping out their heads from pet carriers tucked on the bellies, mounted on the backs, or hanging from a shoulder. Some people match their pets clothing with the pet carrier.

You will be able to find plenty of variety in terms of color, design, and style. A lot of people look for convenience and go for carrier totes that allow them to keep their hands free; others are more concerned about fashion and elegance.

For larger pets the best option is a puppy carrier with wheels especially if you have to walk a long distance. For air travelers, the puppy carrier bag must be airline approved. Pets are not accesories! If you need a bag for traveling that is one thing but do not subject your animal to being carried around just to make you happy.

Pet safe flight carriers?

Question by tattooedtemper: Pet safe flight carriers?
I am moving to Canada sometime in the near future from the States. Was wondering if anyone could suggest a could flight co. to fly with if you are traveling with pets? I have a cat that will be flying with me, due to being a paranoid pet owner and hearing some pretty bad stories I would prefer to keep him in the cabin with me….are there any flight carriers that will allow this? or do all pets have to go with the luggage? Thanks for your help
Thank you so much Doc Savage…I went and checked out United Airlines and they do indeed accept cats for carry on. I appreciate your help

I know I see cats in carriers at United. I’m sure they charge you extra for it but I would defiantly carry the cat with you and not in the luggage pit. It also depends where in Canada you are moving as to what airline you can take. Most of there websites will tell you there pet policy. Good luck!

Question by Jesus: How picky are airlines about the size of pet carriers for traveling with pets in cabin?
We’ll be traveling internationally with Continental and Lufthansa. Both airlines have different size requirements. Lufthansa is 21.6 x 15.7 x 7.9 inches. Continental is 18 x 11 x 11 inches. Are they going to get out tape measures at the ticket counter? If we’re an inch or two over will it be OK? It’s impossible to to find pet carriers that are exactly the dimensions required. All tips about flying with pets would be greatly appreciated.

the carriers have to fit those dimensions, because the carrier must be able to fit under the seat!

Ive heard of people getting away with squishing a soft carrier under the seat, but if its a hard carrier, you will definantly have to check your pet in as luggage.

Find a carrier that fits those dimensions to be safe.
